Photography & Video · Team On UkulhasUpdated July 2026
The guest decides in one photo. Usually the wrong one.
Imagery is a top-three factor in how travellers choose where to stay,
and on Booking.com a strong photo score can nearly double bookings. Most
guesthouse listings are still running phone photos from three seasons
ago.
EzWebBuilds shoots property photography and video in-house — Miruppe and
Accko are born and raised on Ukulhas, so on our own atoll there's
no travel cost. A Listing Refresh is $350 (MVR 5,411),
a full-day Full Property Shoot $650 (MVR 10,049), and the
two-day Signature photo-and-video package $1,200 (MVR 18,552) —
all to Booking.com's preferred 4000×3000 specification.
These aren't our figures — they're the platforms' and the researchers'.
They're the reason a reshoot is usually the highest-return change a
listing can make.

Three shoots. One spec. No travel line on your invoice.
Every package is shot to Booking.com's preferred 4000×3000
specification and delivered in listing order. Prices below are Zone A

split when neighbours book together.

PROJECTIONAt a $120 nightly rate, this pays for itself in 3 room nights.
Up to 3 room types, plus reception, in-house dining, beach, island and drone. Around 40 finished photos and drone stills, in listing order with a website-optimised set.
The standard for small guesthouses — 4–10 rooms, two or three room types.
PROJECTIONAt a $150 nightly rate, this pays for itself in about 5 room nights.
All room types (up to 6), the in-house restaurant, common areas, spa, island, drone stills and aerial video, one 60–90s property film, 3 vertical reels, golden-hour exteriors. Around 80 finished photos.
Boutique hotels and larger properties — 11–20 rooms, in-house dining. This is what Nala Veli commissioned.
PROJECTIONAt Nala Veli's forward rate of $206.84, this pays for itself in 6 room nights — its average guest stays 8.6.

03The Content Bank · Monthly
A steady feed, without paying for four trips.
We don't travel to your island every month. We shoot a large batch once
a quarter, then deliver edited content to you every month. You get a
steady feed; nobody pays for four trips. Files arrive by shared drive —
we don't post to your accounts unless separately agreed.

1 shoot every 2–3 months
Prepaid by term — one quarter ($285 / $675 / $1,185), six months or a year. Three-month minimum, no monthly invoicing.
Why we bill by the quarter
A shoot cycle is a quarter, so a term is too. Social platforms reward
consistency over intensity: the first quarter builds the library, the
second makes the feed look like a property worth the rate, and by the
third it's working while you sleep. Paying one quarter at a time keeps
it simple for everyone — one invoice, not twelve to chase.
Bridge offer
Prepay six months of Storyteller and your Listing Refresh shoot is half price.
04Travel, Priced Honestly
Our team lives on Ukulhas. Your invoice shows it.
Most photographers price a Malé speedboat and an overnight stay into
every quote. Ours don't have to on our own atoll — and where travel is
genuinely needed, it's charged at cost and split between neighbours.
Travel pricing by zone.
Zone
Where
Travel treatment
Zone A
Ukulhas and Alif Alif atoll
No travel cost. No accommodation required. Prices as listed.
Zone B
Other local islands reachable by scheduled ferry or speedboat
Prices as listed + transfer at cost. Host provides one room-night. Quoted per island before booking.
Zone C
Islands requiring a domestic flight or seaplane
Quoted individually. Never a flat rate.
Cluster discount
When three or more properties on the same island book within the same shoot
window, the travel component is split between them. Get your neighbours in
and everyone pays less — we'd rather do four properties in two days than
one property in one.
Content ownership
You own full commercial rights to every delivered image and clip. All
content is original and shot on your property — there is no stock.
EzWebBuilds retains the right to show the work in its portfolio.
05Questions Owners Ask
Photography questions, answered straight.
How much does property photography cost in the Maldives?
At EzWebBuilds, a half-day Listing Refresh is $350 (about 20 photos across up to 2 room types, plus lobby, exterior and drone — sized for homestays and compact stays), a full-day Full Property Shoot is $650 (around 40 photos plus drone, for small guesthouses), and the two-day Signature photo-and-video package is $1,200 for boutique and larger properties. The local market runs $300–500 for a photographer and $1,500–3,000 for premium photo-plus-video, so our team's on-island base keeps prices low.
Why is your photography cheaper than travelling photographers?
Miruppe and Accko live on Ukulhas. On our own atoll (Zone A) there is no travel cost, no accommodation and no speedboat line on your invoice — the price you see is the price. Other islands add transfer at cost, which we split when neighbouring properties book the same shoot window.
How does the Content Bank work, and how is it billed?
The Content Bank delivers edited photos and video every month, from one batch shoot each quarter — a steady feed without paying for four trips. Plans are $95, $225 or $395 a month, but billed by term: one quarter, six months or a year, prepaid, with a three-month minimum. No monthly invoicing to chase. A single month of content changes nothing, so we start at a quarter.
Do you post to my social accounts?
No — not unless it's separately agreed. We deliver edited files by shared drive and you (or your team) post them. All content is original and shot on your property; there is no stock. You own full commercial rights to delivered images, and we retain the right to show the work in our portfolio.
