Privacy Policy

EzWebBuilds is a Maldives design and engineering studio. This policy explains what data this website collects, what we collect when you contact us or become a client, what we deliberately do not store, and how to reach us about any of it.

What this website collects

  • Analytics — optional, and only with your consent. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate site usage — pages visited, approximate location, device type, and which contact buttons are clicked. Google Analytics loads only after you accept the analytics notice; before that, nothing is sent to Google. If you decline, no analytics run and every part of the site keeps working. Your choice is stored locally on your device (not on our servers), and you can change it at any time via “Analytics preferences” in the footer.
  • No forms are stored here. The project brief on our Start page composes a WhatsApp or email message on your own device. Nothing you type is uploaded to or stored by this website.
  • No cookies beyond optional analytics. We set no advertising or tracking cookies of our own. The only thing stored before consent is the local record of your analytics choice itself.

What we collect when you contact us

If you message us on WhatsApp or email, we receive what you send: your name or business name, contact details, and whatever you tell us about your project. We use it to respond, scope and deliver work. We do not sell it, share it for marketing, or add you to mailing lists you didn't ask for.

What we hold for client projects

  • Contact and billing details needed for invoices and delivery.
  • Project files: content, photos, credentials you explicitly hand over (stored in access-controlled tools; credentials are returned or rotated at handover).
  • Website analytics for sites under a care plan, reported back to you monthly.

What we refuse to store

  • Guest personal data in AI knowledge bases. Assistants we build hold property information only — rooms, policies, transfers — never guest identities, passports, or payment details, and staff are trained accordingly.
  • Payment card data. Payments on client sites are handled by the client's booking engine or bank; we never process or store card details.

Providers

This site is statically hosted; optional analytics run on Google Analytics, and only after you accept them. Client projects typically use established infrastructure providers (hosting, DNS, database) named in each project's written scope. Each AI build ships with its own project-specific data-handling document.

Retention and your rights

We keep project files for the life of the working relationship plus a reasonable archive period, and delete them on request where no legal obligation requires otherwise. To ask what we hold about you or have it corrected or deleted, contact hello@ezwebbuilds.com or WhatsApp +960 985-7060.
