Terms of Service

These are the standing terms for working with EzWebBuilds. Every project also gets its own written scope; where the written scope and this page differ, the written scope wins.

Scope and price

  • Every project starts with a written scope: inclusions, explicit exclusions, timeline, and a fixed price in USD with an MVR equivalent. Prices exclude any applicable taxes; final tax treatment is confirmed in the written proposal.
  • Changes beyond the written scope are quoted in writing before any work happens — no verbal scope, no surprise line items.
  • Custom systems (mini apps, dashboards, automation) are quoted only after a paid Discovery engagement.

Payment

  • Websites: 50% deposit, 50% at launch. Direct-booking sites: 40/40/20 (deposit / design approval / launch). Audits, landing pages and Discovery: paid upfront.
  • Work starts when the deposit arrives. Invoices unpaid 14 days past due pause the project.
  • Stated credits (audit fee, landing-page fee, Discovery fee) apply within their stated windows and are not exchangeable for cash.

Content and timelines

  • The project clock starts when your content arrives — photos, room and price details, and approvals from a named decision-maker. We provide a checklist on day one.
  • Each project includes the revision rounds stated in its scope (typically two). Further revisions are billed at $40/hr, agreed in writing first.

Ownership

  • On final payment, you own the deliverables: domain, code, content, design assets, and (for AI builds) the knowledge files. We may reference shipped work in our portfolio unless you ask us not to.

Care and support

  • Every website includes 60 days of post-launch care. After that, support runs through care plans with capped hours and stated response times, or at $40/hr for one-off work.
  • Care plans and other recurring services (AI assistant plans, the Content Bank, the Quarterly Revenue Review) are prepaid by term — 3, 6 or 12 months — with a 3-month minimum, rather than billed monthly. Sites without a care plan fall outside our defect warranty after the included 60 days.

Honest limits

  • We do not guarantee search rankings, AI citations, booking volumes, or revenue — no honest studio can. We guarantee the machinery described in the scope: what we ship, how fast it is, and that it works as specified.
  • AI assistants draft; your staff send. Third-party platforms (model providers, Telegram, booking engines) may change their terms or pricing; where that forces rework, we quote it honestly rather than absorbing it silently into corners cut elsewhere.
